EYELID SURGERY INFORMATION


Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)  is a Plastic Surgery procedure to correct drooping upper eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes.  This is done by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle. The procedure usually takes 1 to 3 hours.

Eyelid Surgery may be carried in in conjuction with a Face Lift. or instead of
Botox Injections.

Eyelid Surgery Complications can include:  temporary discomfort, tightness of lids, swelling, bruising; temporary dryness, burning, itching of eyes;  excessive tearing or sensitivity to light for a few weeks.

Eyelid Surgery Results last for several years - sometimes permanently.

Eyelid Surgery Costs: varies between  $1,500-$7,000 - with the average total price for Upper Lids and Lower Lids being $4000.
